We ensure our teaching is up-to-date with the latest research findings and government policy. We take advantage of our links with industry, collaborations with key fire researchers and the equipment in our fire laboratory.
The School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences have a number of undergraduate, post-graduate and professional degrees. Teaching is an important component of our portfolio and we ensure our teaching is up-to-date with the latest research findings and government policy. We take advantage of equipment in our fire laboratory, links with industry and collaborations with key fire researchers.
All staff from FLARE contribute to teaching and we teach into other key subjects run by the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences as well as servicing corporate education. Our main lecturers are Prof. Trent Penman, Dr. Alex Filkov, Dr. Jane Cawson and Dr. Matthew Swan.
