In a world of climate uncertainty and increasingly extreme wildfires, it is unclear how best to adapt to such a web of unknowns. Approaches such as wildfire resilience emerge as a key pathway for adaptation, yet they also reveal persistent gaps between siloed disciplines and geographically isolated strategies. Against this backdrop, my research explores how fire management and conservation practices could more effectively complement one another to strengthen wildfire resilience in both fire-prone and newly fire-exposed regions.
