This project, in partnership with NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), focuses on the redevelopment of environmental, cultural, and historical asset layers to improve their representation in bushfire risk modelling and decision support systems. The work involves refining asset definitions, spatial data inputs, and classification frameworks to better reflect the values and vulnerabilities of non-built assets across NSW landscapes. By integrating expert knowledge and transparent methodologies, the project aims to enhance how these assets are prioritised, visualised, and protected within fire planning and response tools.
