Nghi Nguyen

Masters student

Nghi is a Master of Environment student interested in climate change and its effect on the risk of wildfire outbreaks. She had a background in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science. With this, Nghi pursued postgraduate study in the hope of learning more about climate change. For the final semester of her Master’s program (2024), she will be undertaking a research project under the supervision of Dr. Hamish Clarke. Her research project will be centred around understanding the implications of climate change on ignition and analysing the impact of climate change on ignition probability across different Australian bioregions and periods. Outside of work and study, Nghi enjoys photographing, trekking, and learning Finnish and French.
